@The Doctor: Nice!
oscu Wrote:thanks and i have read your blog banpeiYeah, I also planned to cut the cornerlights but then some "cheap" set of the right model came up on Auctions Yahoo and I could not resist to buy that. Well, it turned out pretty expensive anyway... But at least I got it original now. Parts are quite difficult to find, especially if you really need something. So currently I'm just scavenging parts on Marktplaats (Dutch ebay) and such... 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

hi there just thought i'd show off my lil rona
she has a 1ggte conversion hks high mount manifold and a t04e internal gated turbo. Running the spura five speed gearbox and ugly exhaust with a nice lil dumped muffler. I'm running after market management in the form of a microtech with a modified dizzy with a 6g74 dizzy cap and rotor. currently running horrible rip off volk thre spoke but have some genuine watanabes on the way with a grey/purple pearl centre. Interiorwise i've got a nardi deep dish corn wheel white trd knob pioneer stereo and speakers. recaro seats being installed this weekend already running a sparco harness. I'm lucky enough to have the irs rear end but the factory lsd is starting to favour one leg :-P currently run a best of a 13.25 at 109mph slicks took a second out of my et and 20 miles outs of my top end speed. ruined my diff ratio apparently. So back to street tyres and a fresh tune and an open exhaust i'll be ready for J20 (Jamboree) in August to run in the street compact class in the bracket section. Hopefully in the twelves. fingers crossed. future plans finally get the suspension sorted for an all round package. change to a larger externally gated turbo and make full use of my manifold. tidy up the body thats gotta happen soon. don't think andra like rust lol. And a full repray with full steel flared guards. So enjoy the limited pics and if you like them i'll load some more up peace out shauno |

Wow! That's a nice conversion!
And that 6 cylinder still fits under the bonnet of the Corona? Then it must surely fit in the Carina as well! 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

i had some fun while 'our boys' where playing the semifinal football thingie...
I made the best out of the empty roads! ;D Drove around, made some shots, and had some fun. The car looks very sorry for itself in some pics, but apart from the looks, I still like this car! I found out yesterday I need more power though http://www.vimeo.com/13147323 Really happy how the car drives now, after the coilover installation at Area52 on sunday! On deep dips I hit the bumpstops, so some shorter shocks are needed ;D oh and, all was done on private roads off course... Turns out they won, so I can go out again on Sunday "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |
