Hello all I just wanted to talk about the impuls super carbon ae86's and what you think about them

They're carbon fiber, they're fast (kinda), they're made to demo their range of CF products. I personally don't like replacing my entire car with carbon bits but I guess it's cool to see how far some people are willing to go. Impulse has made cool bits for quite some time but all this carbon stuff doesn't excite me much. if you want to know more I think motortrend did an article on one...

I've never heard of these cars specifically though I know Impulse make a bunch of (presumably) high quality carbon parts.
But you need to be a very rich individual to build a car up with them. Some prices I found:
-Hood: +- 5000€
-Roof: 1000-2000€
-Coupe trunklid: 2400€

If you can afford to throw that kind of money at an 86 you probably have it parked next to your mcLaren.

If carbon fibre 86's tickle your fancy have a look at Carbon Fibre Junkie, another guy that makes all-carbon 86's, but with more of a racing focus.

I agree with the above reactions: carbon is nice for a race car, but it's horribly expensive. On a street-driven car, it usually is mostly show.
