The actual lights I used are the ones I had in the Nissan King Cab lights since they were in better condition. Creating new brackets? My car had mounting points for these lights after I removed the old inner brackets. For the outer brackets I just used some thin metal and fixed it to the lower part of where the fender was cut! |

Yes if you remove the inner brackets they will fit. For the ones inside the fender I want to do it "properly" but they still haven't reached the top of the priority list yet.

Haven't updated in a while but work still goes on. A bigport 4A-GE with HKS 256 cams and higher comp pistons has made its way in to the car, still using the smallport intake with a T3 adapter plate. all electronics were also moved from the smallport to the bigport, which means its running on a EUDM smallport ECU

Any noticeable differences between the stock smallport and your new bigsmallport? 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

I haven't yet tried it. It has just started for the first time and i still need to run it in. But with it being christmas and all that kinda hasn't happend..
The guy who built the engine (It was part of the purchase of an AE86 my father made) was aiming for 150hp. That should make noticable difference from a 300 000km redtop! Not sure what the pistons are but i think the guy said they gave the same compression as a stock redtop, but I'm pretty sure there is also a TRD headgasket in there, can't remember right now |

Not much has happend, but I'll throw in an update anyways!
I bought and installed a short shift kit from Cube Speed in Australia. Haven't tried it in motion yet but the shifter feels very solid and the throw sure is shorter than stock. My fathers AE86 is coming along nicely with fresh paint new wheels and some other new goodies! |
