What is needed for a rear-axle overhaul?

I'm a bit confused about the bearings in the rear axle.

There are 2 wheelbearings and an additional 3 for the diff. Am I right? I can get the seals in switzerland for a good price, but the rear wheel bearings cost a kidney.

Is there a koyo package for everything together?

Has anyone a list for a 87 AE86?

Complete axle gasket kit from Toyota 04412-14020 comes with diff gasket, paper and metal half shaft gaskets and 2 aluminium sealing washers for the fill/drain plug. Kit cost around 10 euro.

I thought I'd be a bit smarter and I'll figure out with that link which parts I have to get. But infact I feel quite lost and hopeless, as the rear axle is a science for it's own.

Which bearings can I order by Koyo?

AS far as I figured out:

41201A - Bearing, Tapered Roller
41201B - Bearing, Input Shaft

41301A - Bearing, for DiffCase

04221 - Axle Bearing

Can anyone help me out with that an tell me the qty and Koyo-Nr. I'm still missing the wheel bearings. I had to open the axle once, to replace a seal and there was this hugh wheel bearing on the axle, can anyone help me I'm really SUPER LOST

You can get everything from Koyo afaik. The huge wheelbearings are almost only available from koyo, the diff bearings are pretty standard items and can be found from many brands.
You need :
-2 wheelbearings
-2 diff carrier bearings (LM501349)
-2 pinion bearings (HM88649-99408 & M86649-99401)

Rear wheel bearings are very expensive indeed, cheapest I eves saw them was 60 euro's, average price is more like 100 euro's a piece.

But there is a difference between late and early models in diameter of the axle and so also the bearings? Is that true?

Nope, the diameters taper down at a few points, the thicker kouki axles just have a bigger diameter at the diff end.
