Which Swaybars for my 86?
I have a cusco catalogue in my office and there are no adjustable ones listed.
I do have to talk with Japan about this though. Does anyone have a link to one of these adjustable cusco ones? The regular Cusco are quite good though. Makes quite a diference. Quote:Does anyone have a link to one of these adjustable cusco ones? Never heard, never seen. The only ajustable bars on cusco ae86 range are one in the front member and the panhard. Even the cusco 4 links are non adjustable. But I can be mistaken. ![]() Cump´s Filipe Oliveira |

I think it depends on your needs and skills.
If you are the kind of driver that can feel everithing on the car (0.1 psi less on the FR tire, 0.001º camber missalignment) then the adjustables are highly needed. If you want to have a good sway bars that prevents body roll, the non adjustable are good enough. I hope to get a cusco set someday. ![]() Cump´s Filipe Oliveira |

Cusco do adjustable 4 links. They are 'formula' spec or something.
As for swaybars. Ive got TRD ones, feel pretty sweet. Cheaper option is to double up your existing ones, you just need to find another set and join them with 'D' bushes, then they are also adjustable stiffness too cos you can slide the outer bushes outward more for more stiffness. Shouldn't be too hard to find another set as AE85 and AE86 are same anyway. I done this mod on my old 12a KE25 and i worked out really good. You don't HAVE to buy named brand parts. Especially if you can do it yourself. |
