Which shifter position on W series box?
Depending on your seating position and how tall you are etc.. you will want to go for the most rearward options, I think mine was the most rearward shifter you can get, but Iam a tall bugger and I had moved my seat back too. Might pay to sit in your car and just check where you would like the shifter position to be then go from there.
Shifter measurements are taken from the front of the gearbox, (not bellhousing) back to the shifter hole. Top row, Celica 18" 18" 19" and 20.5" Bottom row Supra, 18" 18" 19" 20.5" 20.5" and 21" Right is a remote shifter puts the leaver about 20cm off the gearbox end. Depends on if you want it to come out of the stock hole with no modifications. If you have a 4ag there are two options, depending on how your mounting the w5x to the engine. If using
Adapter plate: 18" Bellhousing: 19" Stock T-50 position is 19.25" Andrew |
