its an option, but i dont know anything about that rear axle, do you have any photos? measurements about it? what lsd? does it have one by deafult? final drive ratio? halfshaft parameters? hub center diamerter? pcd? brake mounting possibilities? ets etc...
i was looking for the ma47 axle because its the big brother of the ae86 axle, even the brake brackets are interchatgable, but it seems like impossible to get, so rare i almost didnt even find photos of it on the interbutts! Banging head

I would definately go for a volvo 200 series axle (preferably an early one 1030 type if I'm not mistaken). They are easy to find, LSD's are available, brakes are beefy 2 piston types, R&P's are cheap. This is mostly because the diff and gears are interchangeable with dana 30 stuff. It is also pretty strong, judging from the many turbo volvo bricks that manage to drive around with these.

FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC!
