axle problem,anyone????

last year this happened 2 times with my rear axles

is this an material problem or can i get stronger axels
this happened while drifting at high speed and the engine has only 130 wheel hp and now i have a blacktop in my ae86 and this engine has more power


anyone ever has this kind of axle problems?????

Seen this before, on a car fitted with paddle type clutch.
Can also happen when changing down gears, too fast off the clutch when there is plenty of grip.... :wink:

its a driftcar so to mutch grip isen't the problem i think

BUT i do have a "paddle type" clutch we call it sinterbrons overhere or 4 puck,but yes it dont have the springs in the middle

(and i use the clutch A LOT, i dont have a e-brake in my car.... )

Jasper, give a call to arnout at supras.nl, he probably can source you a Supra mark II rear axle hopefully for a decent price. That should be able to take a little more beating.

i'm pretty sure he has one, because he took one out of his own Celica-Supra because he wanted a solid rear axle

Isn't a van rear axle a better idea?
