ca18det conversion
today i bought complete s13 200sx ca18det manual as a donor car for my project, thing is im a skilled mechanic by trade so grunt work and fabrication a problem for me, just if anyone her has done or nows how conversion done and can tell me tips and just let me pick their brains it would be appricaited! sorry for my spelling!!! cheers!!

I have read somewhere that the easiest way to do this conversion is to mount the cross member from the Nissan as this will allow you to use the front suspension and brakes from the Nissan and you have engine mounts the correct place. Then you need to sort out the wiring into the dashboard. To do this it would help if you could get a wiring diagram of the Nissan SX200.
You of course also need a one off prop shaft, gear mount and exhaust. It shouldn't be to hard Regards Johnny and |

If I were to nissan power an 86, which I would never do anyway, I would got for the well documented SR20DET conversion like many in Ireland & the US.
Like El Camino said, its a different feeling, It ends up being an expensive 200sx An 86 is for Life, not just for Christmas |
