20v Blacktop conversion....
Hi Folks,
My 4age rebuild is nearing completion, and again I'm after some help  What do people usually do about the engine - gearbox brackets? there's 2 mounting holes on each side of the block for them, one of which is now used for the engine mounting brackets in rwd configuration. Are these brackets required? If so, would it be ok to cut them down to one bolt to the block and two bolts to the bellhousing on each side? Also, Valve lash caps, is it ok to sand these down using some fine (1000 GRIT) paper? They're quite tight following on from a little valve lapping, and the smallest size from Toyota is 1.70mm Thanks |
