Are you sure this is the way you want to go with the repair? That's a lot of welding! You could bend up some sides and weld a plate on top of that.

Thanks for the tip Ivan Thumbs up!

Yeah, it's a lot of welding and I also didn't think of the accessibility. Due to the spare wheel compartment it is hard to get a decent welding position so change the concept.
Someone else also mentioned the way you, Ivan are talking about but I'll just bend one side and only half ways. It's 2 mm gauge steel and it's difficult to work with without the proper equipment.

Hope that it'll be fine

I finished with the rear profile. It could have been better (meaning like Ivan said = less welding), but hopefully it'll work.

A also started the fixing the spring nest. First I painted everything with weld 2 primer. This stuff is great Thumbs up!

When I am updating I don't see the latest pics too. Dunno what the problem is. I use Picasa Web Album.

Here's a new update.
Rear strut support. cleaned, phosphorized, primed and spot welded in.

This is how it looks from inside

the other side.

I gonna cut little of the new part and add a small piece left from the original strut support. then strengthen it with solid plate.

I can see some pics now.. Looks okay to me for an undercar repair.
You have your work cut out for you with the inner wheel wells though.

Well just like Ivan said

I have to admit that I was a little bit to eager for cutting with the angle grinder. Should never had done it that way. I managed to form the inner wheel well and place the strut support. It was a lot of measuring Huh like every hit/weld. I also took the references of two other rollas just to be sure.
Will add some more plate to strengthen it up, some welds and the strut "collar".
