You can see the difference but it fits, there is the problem. You need the exact replacement, all slave cylinders that I have seen are the same, but what country are you in because there are variences in t50 bell housings, left/right

The slave's rod length only matters in the extremes - too long and the clutch will not engage completely because the piston will bottom out in the slave cyl., too short and the clutch will not dis-engage because the piston pops out of the
cylinder.
I really don't have a clue about your problem.
Can you explain it any better then 'will not release completely
and it slipps'????? To me that means that it neither engages completely nor dis-engages completely, pedal only does half a job whether on the floor or all the way up.

Sorry, I still don't get it.
Disengaged = clutch does not connect engine with the drivetrain, transmission to the wheels, the clutch pedal is on the floor
Engaged - pedal is all the way up, engine is connected to the transmission.

I believe what he mean is when the pedal is all the way up the clutch stay disengaged (or not fully engaged)

Clutch not engaging = bad clutch or a very long slave cyl. pushrod that has bottomed out & would be very difficult to install & feel rock solid if you try to move it or the clutch fork.
