That was my first setup. In contains a pump, a filter, radiator. Suction through the oil drain plug, and pressure through a fitting on the top of differential house, it can't be seen on the pics. The pump can be switched on from the dash, but there was a thermoswitch as well. Later this setup was transferred to my friend's car, there the radiator and pump was installed inside the cabin. His mechanic used TRD style pickup point, with tubing inside the axle housing. BTW, I have a radiator, pump, filter and thermoswitch for sale, all new in box, exactly the same items as in the photos. http://www.ae86.hu |

toyota69: I'm pretty sure you could adapt the OEM system from a 200SX - should be quite cheap - I might even have a spare lying arouond somewhere but I wont be back in Switzerland untill end of June.

cool the rear differential
I have a thousand question this weekend I did a demonstration of drift and at the end of the day the final gear 4 / 77 with less than a year began to make noise like a whistle, then I wonder if this is not because of the oil temperature was too high???
Another issue with a cooling system at the rear, we must make changes al inside the differential? thank you very much for your response is really nice Stéphane |

If you go with the drain plug route you do not need to change inside anything. If you'l go the TRD pickup tube, you need to weld inside your axle housing. But for the drilling the pressure inlet you need to open the whole pumpkin to avoid more failure.
The whining is come from the final gear I'm afraid...And if it started to be noisy it never will be silent again. It could be caused by oil temp, or a bad pinion bearing spacer. http://www.ae86.hu |
