brake upgrade

a6x series celica/supra disc, mx62 caliper, xt130 corona strut.

corona strut is almost identical geometry wise to ae86, and runs the same steering knuckle bolt spacing. but has much sturdier stub axle, and simple brake upgrade (only small amount of milling/spacers required)

rear coilover (avo)

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - few pics of my latest victim :)]

front coilover (choped up dead cusco s13 coilover hardware with agx damper, though photo shows trd)

the right one. 4age Smile

hah well yes and no, it is what im gonna be using to begin with for a few reasons.

for the early stages, i think its best to sort everything else out first. plus its cheap, and also makes registration easier, (cant hurt, as there's alot of other things making registration of this car harder) and also will be the perfect engine for my ae71.

so normal jdm ae86 4age to begin with, with just a nice exhaust, clutch/flywheel combo, and normal 4.3 diff gears.

already though i have most of the makings of a fun little carb' 4ag.

- 101 silver top bottom end, ae92 pistons, a nice condition big port head, which isnt my first choice, but i had a webber manifold to suit already, some 40mm mikuni PHHs, ect. mostly everything except the consumables, and the cams.

plus some 5.375 diff gears.

i really wanna build that set up, as its something ive always wanted (tuned 16v na 4ag). but i am looking at getting into doing comps and being competitive. if i do end up really pursuing that, then the 4ag will make way for some type of 3s for sure.
