Hi thanks for the comments , the engine was built here in New Zealand ,
Hasselgren is half a world away from here .
Yes I have all the specs of the engine as I have been a part of the decision process of how to make this work . I'm not sure that the specs would be of any use as a complete package of engine is what will make this a success. There are a lot of TRD parts that may be very hard to find these days, the bottom end is very simple TRD rods pistons, machining inside the block, dry sump set up etc (2 days spent inside a new block with a die grinder removing all the casting marks and polishing ), but what becomes very time consuming and very expensive is the head work, the top of the engine is no use without the bottom. Attention to detail on every part is very important , that is why a project like this is not done in 6 months .
Have a look back at the beginning of this thread and you will see the parts of the bottom end .
cheers

nzae86's TRD ae86 N2 Race Car Project 2,
thank you for the reply
i know every part is very important, and with just a few nice and modded parts a engine doesn't become a racing engine.
i have a idea to build a high revving engine myself, but i think it's getting a problem to keep some torque.

this engine just looks very very nice, and the trd parts are very nice Yummie!

i would love to see/hear this car racing Thumbs up! Wave

nzae86's TRD ae86 N2 Race Car Project 2,
Yes time seems to keep moving on and not at the track yet , I have been very busy with work and time to work on the race car takes second place . The brakes are now sorted with different master cylinders and it's in for a rough wheel alignment today to get thing pointing in the basic direction before I corner weight the car, and then realign everything.
I have started on the under tray , still a bit of work to do on it yet , not sure how it will make it handle but may help keeping the stones out of the engine belts.

also ducting some air to the front brakes as well.

Hope to have the car on the dyno soon , then start track testing. Smile
