I already removed the old radiator, so I need to put vinegar in my new radiator and let it for a day of something? and should the motor also must be started for cleaning the engine?

The new one is new
But you still have some shit in the system ---> block, head, hoses, etc. I would do some kind if provisional setup, without the radiator and run the engine to clean the system. Philip |

Open up all water outlets (bottom rad hose, bolt on exhaust side of engine block) and let a garden hose run some water through it a few times.
Or what I did before replacing a rad: run your system on tapwater for a short run, and flush it completely. Repeat two times, this way the water will take up a lot of the crap left in the system. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Thanks,
I am thinking about to put the old rad back, and going to buy a special pill for cleaning the system with motor running this way I believe the rust in the system will go. and then do the flushing with water after that. 1985 AE86 (ハチロク) Levin - Summer time daily driver |
