rear window defroster lines
So i only have 2 working defroster lines left on my rearwindow. Last week i still had 4 working. So with winter around the corner it's going to be difficult to keep my window fog/iceless. Has anyone here succesfully repaired those lines?
The 2 tabs on either side are still good. I checked the lines and i've not seen any visible scratches so i'm guessing i'm going to have to multimeter check them. ハチロク |

In the manual they have a substance to fix those lines... dunno what material it is, but can check here in Portugal. As the classic car theme is well known around and most of the restaurers must know how to fix that!

The regular solution is a conductive paint with which you can fix broken connections on the defroster lines. Just clean, mask and paint over the broken connection. I've seen it work before, but in all cases I've seen, it is not really clean looking. I wonder if with carefull masking it can be made to not stand out (and still be able to conduct enough current).
