Removing front window trim

Anyone know how to safely remove the front window trim? The trim from the side windows was easy to remove but the front won't move. I'm afraid i'm going to break them or even worse crack my windshield.

I used small guitar strings to cut the kit for front window. Only you need be careful as the string will getting hot.

Here you go...follow instructions carefully and you should succeed just fine.

^^I looked at the manual and didn't see those pages, guess i missed them.

I'm not good with these fiddly jobs but they have to come off cause the car is getting 2k primered pretty soon.

Just follow the instructions carefully and the trim should come off just fine. If I managed, so can you.
You definitely don't want to rush anything and break one of these parts because they are hard to come by.

They're already off. The sideparts were attached with 3 screws each. Pulled the rubber seal away and that revealed screws. When the sides were off the top part could slide off. Alot of the clips for the top part were already broken. Atleast i got the trims off without breaking.

The clips are not a problem, those can be found.. the trim is notoriously hard to find.. dunno if Toyota still has it in stock, probably not.
