weird gearbox part2(possible trd set a)

So i was installing a spare gearbox i had which i bought with the car.
And i noticed my first gear was really long
75 in first with a 4.8 while it should be arround 45.
Upon opening and counting i think its the trd 5 speed gearbox
Anyone that can confirm this ?

yup seems to be correct according to TRD page it's the AE811 (5 gear set). Lucky you - I'd love to find something like that.

I would have all of those gears inspected for damage / cracks before using or selling on.

Im always using kmh thats what we use over here
Guess im really lucky since other gearbox was also competition but the other was better for 4,8.
The trd one needs 5,3 so thats why it was swapped out.

The last one stripped 2 teeth off of 3rd gear at 35mph on smooth tarmac.

Good old Quaife Ford 'box back in.
Stronger and a lot cheaper to repair if it does go wrong.
