what clutch would you recommend
Hi all I've got a 1984 Corolla Levin pushing out about 160bhp, it currently has an Ogura race clutch which is pretty much impossible to use on the road. could anyone recommend me a clutch which i can use on the road but can handle the bhp or weather a standard AE86 clutch would be fine.

cheers

I got the Ogura 250light in mine.
Altough there are no springs on the clutch it works perfectly fine.
Slipping point might be a bit short but you get used to it. This should handle up to 250hp.

Cusco has also a very good clutch, they work really good.

Exedy clutches are good also. You might wanna consider them too. Specially stage 1 is very good option for you.

Just get a heavy duty pressure plate (uprated clamping force), and use a conventional driven plate.

You will only run into problems if you severely abuse it with drifting techniques.

Road or any other form of motorsport and you will be fine, plus it will be a lot nicer to drive.

And get your flywheel resurfaced.

Like all Chinese stuff, some last forever, some disintegrate within a week of moderate use.

If you are still beneath, 175hp, don't do full on clutch kicking drift competition every weekend, then a bog standard LUK clutch will last you just fine and be a whole lot nicer to use every day. No fun having the clutch chatter every time you try to reverse somewhere.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear
