will the 0.5 mm HEADGASKET clear?
I still don't get why we have such a conversation...IF your timing belt brake, (I personally think that a brand new timing belt can last for hundrends of thousands of km's), the most unlike think to happen is your valves to remain open.Keeping in mind the camshaft profile, it's like trying to balance an egg at it's tip!

with stock head and block , even whitout headgasket , valves don't touch pistons!!

My timing belt broke a month ago... It was original Toyota belt and I presume it had 145k km on it (not 100% sure). It broke while idling, and I cranked the car for at least 10 or 20 times (while it was broken). It didn't broke, it broke 10 toths and was standing still.
