hmm..The standard BMW E30 325i cup saw a qualifying lap of 02:03 as this years best..To put this in perspective:
I timed a couple of TE71's hotlaps when I saw him at Zandvoort. This was with crappy tires and probably a drift or two, but also with the N2(?) AE86 and blacktop engine that reportedly puts out 165 ponies. Time? Between 02:30 and 02:35 A friend of mine owns a fully modified honda ITR..bored/resleeved, tein suspension etc..making 250hp NA. On slicks he did a fastest lap of 02:13. Point being: the bmw's you see around here in holland are f*ing rapid. It'll take a lot of work and cooperation before us 86 guys can even start to think about being competitive. Offcourse dumping in big turbo engines is a good start ![]() A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
