Trueno Conversion but with a little twist / question.
Hi Guys,

I have read alot about the Levin to Trueno conversion...
Now my question to you guys is...

Wouldn't it be possible to only strip the headlights from the Levin.

Then only buy Trueno Headlights and side blinkers (fender blinkers).
Cut out squares out of my Carbon hood and just plop in the Trueno lights.
Ofcourse they still need fixing for popping up.
And then ofcourse just put in the blinkers in my polyester fenders and then fill up the space from the previous lights.

But is this idea possible?

Are there any other CHEAP alternatives for doing this mod? at all?

Thanks.

if I not mistake, Trueno hood is a bit longer than Levin hood.

The cheaper one is trade with American or Canadian AE86 owner. The only thing you need to pay is the shipping cost and taxes of course.

Sounds like a stupid idea with loads of fabrication work and a result that might look shit.

Better off doing it right, like pack did.

Since your front is still alight sell the parts, fender 150 each, bonnet 200, headlights 250€, sidelights 30 each, bumper 150, brackets 30, grille 75.
Thats going to finance quiet a lot of your conversion.
