Kouki to Zenki Levin grill conversion?

Hi folks,

I bought new headlights and a zenki levin grill from flos.ie, and quelle supris, they don't match up. the headlights come complete with foglamp brackets which have two holes each side to match with the later kouki grill. Has anyone done this conversion could post a few pics of how it was done? I'd like it to fit nicely and not rely on cable-ties

I can't recommend doing it with zip ties through the kouki mounting points:

This was done on a car I recently visited and it just didn't look right. As you can see it didn't line up correctly with the headlights.

However, r.ave did the same thing and for him, it worked:

I did it recently, Banpei shared my car above.
I bought a new grill from flos (assuming they are identical with the OEM ones).

The middle bottom mounting point worked for me, the top one i took off.
Then used 2 zipties on the sides to secure it.

Thanks guys, I think, from my Research, that the original zenki headlights have grill mounting holes on tabs on the lights themselves. I'll have to investigate further. I prefer the look of the early grill, but I'd prefer either no grill or the kouki grill over the slated one if it's not sitting right

if you have fog lights, you have to dremel out a bit of the material from all of the slots on the engine side of the zenki grill (except the lower one)

it will fit nice, just use the original grill tab points and zip ties

I Wish I had those fog lights
