Rebuilding T50 Gearbox "synchro job"
Hi
I cannot seem to find any info on this subject??? Any way, i have the know problem of not beeing able to downshift to 2nd without pressing on 1st. Otherwise the gearbox runs fine. I believe i face a "synchro job" but cannot find any info on this? Has anyone done this before - I could use some advise - Niels |

Rebuilding T50 Gearbox "synchro job"
It's easy if you have a press nearby. You should spend around 60€ if everything else is fine.
You will need (almost for sure) 1st and 2nd synchros (around 15€ each) and the gasket kit (20€). If everything is not so fine, it is also possible that one sleeve (65€) or one bearing (around 90€) needs replacement. The assembly is not very hard although it requires to read the manual carefully. Hope this helps |
