Drifting with stock power on the dry
HI!

I was a bit "drifting" today, now with the kaaz 2 way lsd i got much more grip on the dry, i have 195 tyres on 15 inch wheels with koni suspension on the car. its very tricky to get the hachi roku sideways, i am not using e-brake technique i dont like that....

Sad

use shittier tires, more revs and increase pressure in the reartires to ~40psi or more Smile
one or all of the above should do the trick Wink

This are some first tryouts with the ae, it was on a cold day, so the tyres didn´t grip much, i know not much angle but good speed i think Big Grin

I had the same probelm in the beginning, and also thought that i had to much grip, but its simple becource you are going to slow!,

And that is not my trying to say anything about your driving,
But that was the same with me,

With the hachi, you need to go fast ,at the entry,
it´s alot easy´er when you get more power, then you can drift at a lower speed,
but it´s also much more fun to do it faster, becourse there is not much power over drift anyway,
So drift from the entry of the corner Thumbs up!

Any fool can go fast in a straight line.

I come to this corner in third gear, maybe 100-110km/h then i brake late, still in third gear, steer in and shift down to second without toe and heel, then the rear brakes out...

it should be the other way around!!! or are you driving a AUDI? Tongue

no for real... camberplates... about 1.8 of camber and your Konis set to 3/4 front and 3,5/4 rear... you will have nice balance and no more understeer!! I had the same Setup with the Kaaz 2 way before... that was a nice setup...

now I will run Greddy Type S + Cusco RS LSD... I think i will feel the difference!!! Thumbs up!

the Kaaz didn't make the effect I wanted... the Cusco RS works with lower torghe because of the spring layout... the Kaaz works with the disc layout... Kaaz is good... but Cusco RS is the something else Tongue
