SPRINGS FOR AE86
Since I am in the process of looking for better springs, I just
happen to have a whole bunch of measurements handy Smile

Front eyebrow height = 300 (centre of hub to wheel arch)
Rear eyebrow height = 290
Front body seam to ground = 130 (at jacking point)
Rear body seam to ground = 135

Wheels are 13 x7 with negative 7 offset from memory. The springs
are Jamex (Asian I believe) which give an acceptable ride height, but
they are too soft for even moderately spirited driving.

Cheers... jondee86

6.5kg/mm means that the compression of 6.5kg (pressure) per MM goes.

so 5mm damping needs around 32.5kg

yes the figure says how much force is needed to squish the springs for 1 mm. naturally the springs that need 8kgs to be squished for 1mm are stiffer than the springs that only need say 4 kgs for that 1 mm.
