Chime mounts to the left hand side of the central dash cluster IIRC - pull the centre console off and it screws onto the metal frame that holds the heater controls and CD player etc.

eight-six: no worries, it will arrive eventually We're just into the 2nd week Maybe it's just stuck in dutch customs for some weird reason (terrorist device? )

banpei: thanks so the blue plug I found floating free has nothing to do with the chime. Nice. Now the hunt is on for something that looks like that t-ish plug. (I did find the space behind a small circular grill, that sits on the other side of the cigarette-lighter/ashtray box combination, aka central console), but well, a freefloating chime just for testing purposes, if I have tho connector, won't be too bad
