You should put the gauge somewhere where the oil is the hottest. Not the temp after a cooler.

He refered to the pressure sender I think...and he also mentioned to put it in the line TO the cooler...still not ideal, but better than after the cooler.

I was refering to the oil temp. gauge. Im mounting it as close to the engineblock as possible before the oilcooler.. I know that the best place to mount it is in the oil pan, but i hope that this works just as good. Afterall the outtake to the oilcooler, should be the place where the oil is the hottest.
