I'm by no means an expert, but the one thing that looks strangest to me is the piston pin in the broken piston no.4. How is it possible to get this hot enough to go all blue? I'm thinking this has to have gone blue BEFORE the rod broke?
The broken ringland on piston no3 I've seen several times on stock toyota pistons (on different engine models) after mild/medium detonation. '85 AE86 4AGE, '94 SW20 3SGTE, '83 KP61, 72' RA21 |
