Ford Gearbox experience
Sorry for using the F word
Anyway, Im planning on not using a T-50 in the skid car, was going to get the fensport 4ag to ford type-9 bellhousing which was been very sucessful on the Rally scene. But now that I live in Australia ive found out that the type-9 (sierra 5 speed) is not available here, but they do have a massive amount of cheap type-5 boxes as found in the sierra cosworth & the aussie V6/V8s, or there is an older type-5 4 speed from the cortinas, escorts etc. Does anybody know is the type 5 bolts up the same as the type 9 as in is the bellhousing adaptor any good & is the clutch from the 9 kit of any use, if not what clutch is required. Or is there any other conversion bell available? Cheers Guys An 86 is for Life, not just for Christmas |
