The AE85 axle is different: its diff is 6.38 inch instead of the 6.7 inch. But I already said that in the other topic... Wink

It could be a Carina axle: the A4 and A6 Carina with live axle has exactly the same axle as the AE86 with drumbrakes. I know of a Romanian hachi which has the Carina axle swap due to shortage of parts.
