Velocity stacks = more power, now which to get?

This ^^^ is a typical result obtained by removing the factory inlet plenum
and "bent" rubber intake stacks. And under cross-examination, the owner
will usually break down and admit that the gain was in the 6000-8000 rpm
range Further questioning will also usually discover that there was a
loss of bottom end torque, making an already weak bottom end, worse

Short stacks are the best for producing more top end... they also do the
most damage at lower rpm's. Longer stacks, such as the 110mm made by
TODA can give more performance all round, but are pricey !!! Even so,
as pointed out above, the best results can only be expected when the
stack is "tuned" to the engine mods, and the rpm range where the engine
needs to do its best work.

But yeah... the +200hp effect has gotta be worth something
