Small port 16v with F/A internals

Hi

This build all started back early last year when I saw Dan (oldeskewltoy) having some used Formula Atlantic pistons and conrods for sale. Living in China though it would be a VERY long project only being able to work 5weeks/year during my vacations in Denmark.
So when Hans Kristian (AE86 buddy) offered to do the headwork for me (as part of a learning experience with his new flowbench) + the rest of the engine I was thrilled - the build could begin!

I already had a lightly tuned smallport in my Coupe that I was thinking of selling off so the hunt started for a donor smallport. Those ones are NOT easy to find, but the [u:42f3aae616]third[/u:42f3aae616] one we bought was useable.

The rest is mainly Hans Kristian putting his skills and hours into the project and me paying the bills + helping finding the parts as much as I could being ~9000km away.

Engine ended up like this:
Fully balanced and build to 9500rpm
16v Small Port
Silvertop ITB's
Headwork by Hans Kristian
~280 Catcams with 9mm lift (we never found the precise specs)
F/A pistons and conrods
CR 11,5:1
Fidanza 4kg
OMEX 500 ECU

Sadly I did not have time to break in the engine while I was back in DK, get it on the dyno and get some numbers. So that will have to wait until spring next year - something to look forward to
