Keeping in mind that the engine appears to be hunting, the removal of the vacuum might have a negligible difference to the idle. Saying that, I can't notice much of a vacuum on any of the lines when putting my finger on them.
The engine gets idle air from the throttle bodies themselves, there's no iscv attached. They haven't been tweaked in any way. I haven't had a timing light on it yet, that's on the list of things to obtain to carry out the test. But the timing was spot on with this map previously and nothing has been touched, so it seems unlikely. |
