Changing Mileometer reading?

I belive that you can disassamble the roll, and then put the numbers back in the "right" order.
You need to take off the needle, its easiest done with a regular fork - just put it under the needle and gently pull it of. On the back of the mileometer theres sort of a cup in metal, where the cabel turns. If you mark the needles position proportional to the cup, the mileometer is still correct. In case its not, it pretty easy to calibrate. Just hold on to the cup, and turn the needle back or forth ex. 20 miles (if it shows 20 miles to much) I did it on my previous Toyota, and as far as i know, it still works.
