I think the drain plugs are much the same on almost all ae86's..I was rather puzzled by the fact that the last years had different filler plugs.
About the halfshafts, the thickness is different, and the splines are incompatible (as are the differentials). I dont think they are interchangeable. I only know of the US guys shortening open diff halfshafts to fit lsd's, but then they still have to make sure they get the right generation of lsd. What exactly is in poor shape on your axle? If it's just the plugs go ahead and replace them.. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
