Screeching noise when starting up? belts?

nismo if the multi belt (5 V profile) is in good condition do the following:
loosen the top bolt on the alternator. Also losen the lower bolt a bit. Then use a breaker bar or some sort to put between te alternator and the lower block of the engine. You now have a leaver effect. You can adjust the tenstion this way by using the lease effort. Ones at the correct tension. Some less than a thumb. Tighten the screws on the alternator while keeping the bar pushed so the tension stays on the belt.
