Ok, it's mounted... and yes, there is a difference!
It feels more responsive, especially in low revs. Couple of pictures I had to do some cutting to reduce the length of the sillicone tubes to make it fit... It's a tight fit but it works... I had to re-wire the vacum sensor tubings from the old filter, and I had to remove the sensor for the ECO/POW light. I guess it could be reconnected with a T-joint, but it's ok for now. I bought the following from E-bay: - 3-4 silicone reducer hose turbo silicon - silicone 45 deg Elbow Reducer 64-76mm 2.5 to 3" silicon - Turbo pipes silicone hose Joiner Joint 76mm 3" adaptor - S&B Power Stack Inverted Cone Performance Air Filter 4" And just a 4" metal tube and an extra metal strap from the local hardware store. The sillicon tubes and adapter didn't cost all that much, and it was free shipping so it wasn't too bad. The filter was about $35 and about the same in shipping. It's sucking up so much air now, it's a vacum around the car |
