The FWD pump is a bit shorter than the RWD one, I bought one a long while back and when I installed it I noticed it was the wrong type (by which time it was too late to return it). You can use the FWD pump, but you'll need to use the fwd pulley, since that put's the position of the belt in the same place as the stock pump&pulley combination.
For the record, I've been driving with this pump for about a year now, it has held up fine, but I dont rev the engine high all the time. The RWD pump is probably longer due to a bigger bearing to spread the load of the fan a bit. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
