I haven't read, or remembered the reason that Dave sold the car, but it wouldn't surprize me if it was one of these things:
- Everything is extremely expensive on such a car, the parts, maintenance etc. life changes, kids perhaps, so the car is just a bit to much to handle. - It also might be that his car was just finished, it was one of the most complete cars and best built Skylines nothing more to do on it, so it is time to move on. - I can also imaging he was afraid to drive it, because of the valeu of the car it might be a bit scary to drive fast knowing the write off he would have if he crashed it. An AE86 is less of a heartache i think ![]() But maybe I'm completely wrong altogether ![]() |
