Hi Mate, yes it is .. finally, came down to either a faulty igniter or the O2 sensor pulling the timing.
Using the carbs as throttle bodies is a very good idea, you just need to make sure that you wont get any vacuum leaks past the carb throttle plates. Map will be easy to set up, TPS will be trickier - also depends on the linkage set up you have on your Webers? Are the carbs fully working?
