You won't get any real power increase just using the fuel computer, the power increase comes from the 264/256 cams and adjustable cam gears i have. The fuel computer is there to get the fuelling right for them.
The 150 bhp comes from Bill Sherwoods site using the stock ecu. |

The editor makes it wrong if I enter it's own domain, eg:banpei Wrote:Finally entered the writeup in the How-to section on the frontpage. But the two last writeuplinks aint working, look at the link "http://www.aeu86.org../Writeup/Engine/4AGE_to_7AGE_conversion/55/" http://www.aeu86.org/Whatever/You/Put/Here will result in: http://www.aeu86.org/../../Whatever/You/Put/Here So, fixed it by removing http://www.aeu86.org. Did you use an uprated oil pump? Where or who makes them? Has to be 7A version due to positioning of the idler pulley.

7AGE - How i did it!
i've just finished building one of these..
i used the original 7a oil pump - which seems to be enough for the application. the only thing that sucks about the 7a block is that it doesnt have oil squirters to cool the bottom of the pistons (as the later versions of the 4ag do) which could lead to overheating problems if you choose to go turbo down the track.. i'd recommend using ae92 (smallport 4ag pistons) for the conversion as the 7a ones are dished and wouldnt give you a very good compression. i'll try to get a version of my own build process on the http://www.twincam.info forums with pics soon. |
