Ae86 fuel pump options
i am wondering what kind of intank replacements (looking for more cc/hrflow than standard) as basically my efi pump is abit dodgy.

the bosch 910/909/040/044 motorsport pumps are physically too big to fit in the tank pickup opening. i might be able to try a bosch 070 as they are slightly smaller.

I am only looking for a higher flowing intank pump for now, so dont suggest an external pump to fix it Smile

Just wondering what other people have tried...

thanks..

Andy.

Hey!

I just add walbro fuelpump to my AE86 and it was easy job.
I just take tank off open that cap and take old one away and cut those two wires and add them to new walbro pump.Walbro pump fits pretty good in same place as the old one. Then just close cap and put tank to the car. About 2 hours and it is changed.

Hope this helps Wave

And Walbro set costs around 130 euros.

Old one off and new one fitted.
