Can't fire up. Buzzing from the relay, lamps blinkin- HELP
Problem solved, electrical at least.
It was ECU ground, it wasn't connected properly. The relay buzing was EFI main relay 2 (in manual nowhere mentioned where is it located). Toyota scrap yard car park = AE92GTi - AE82GT - KE30 - KP62 |

Can't fire up. Buzzing from the relay, lamps blinkin- HELP
They tricked me into the McDonalds.... I didn't want to leave the house... I was so depressed and mad because of all the things with the car and all...
My girlfrend said that we must return the wheel to Meshin that he lend us when she busted her tire on the Starlet... So I went... As we arrived the McD I saw Zax's 200SX and I knew something was fishy... The present was a new cell phone!!! (realy needed that... mine is dying for some time now...) Rio brought me some lighter fluid and matches... (although it apears I don't need it.. ) Zax brought a big Milka chocholate (oooohhh I neede that!! diet is for metrosexuals...) Meshin brought the wire harnes for AE86 and a 30A fuse that we blown .... The best present were them selfs... THANX GUYS... You made me change the view on life and current situation... Right now I am on coledge. In about an hour or so, I am going home, going to put some gas in the tank (just to be sure...),, pick up the battery from the charger at Perhan's, put all together, cross my self, pray and hope IT will fire... If it does... I have to make the aluminium hose (between the thermostat and the part above it because that little hose is ruined at the edges, I can't put the O ring rubber and seal the coolant from spilling out...) Mount some used tires on the tele rings, change those winter wheels for the telephone ones... Check the oil and it's track day saturday!!! WEEEEEE... SNO-MO-BIRU project started- CHIRO |

Can't fire up. Buzzing from the relay, lamps blinkin- HELP
IT'S ALIIVVEEEEEE!!!!!
IT fired today... i emptyed the battery trying to fire, and then it hit me... I took the batery from the starlet, put it on, and my girlfriend sat in the car and started crancking... turned the distributor way too much and it started giving life signals... took the distributor of, turned the mark of the distributor slightly clockwise... less timing, put the distributor back in and BANG! like a song to my ears... It seems when puting the distributor, the marks should be slightly clockwise off not on the mark... mine was on ther mark and in but as the gears are curved it would turn of the mark when pushed in... or wouldnt catch the gear it should... So the rotor slightly less timing (clockwise) and in... If it is not a problem, admins and mods, please copy/ paste this whole topic into this one: http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae86/t/3737/start=75 to keep the original topic up to date... (the reason why I put this topic for it self at the start was to make more people see it, and now we have a good know how... ) Thank you.... SNO-MO-BIRU project started- CHIRO |

okaj... done...
Had trouble with that small aluminium hose that goes from the water pump to the uper thingy on the head from wich a hose goes to the radiator... It was busted so I did a new one... Leaking at first, so I was checking coolant every few minutes... Sealed it now... Also, yesterday I have put the Sparco seat in the car... a whole diferent story... For now everything is ayokay...
