Dirty Windows..

Hey Guys.

My Trueno seems to have this dirt layer stained into my windows. It seems like the owners before me didnt like to clean windows. The dirt or grit is on the out side and I have tried to clean it off using window cleaner, asoproly Alcohole (spell Check) and even tired a cut and polish but nothing works...I have no idea how to get my windows clean...Its not real bad but when you look at the windows up close you can notice it.

I really dont want to buy new windows for the Trueno...so any help would be great!

I'm no window cleaner but Autoglym is what i've used in the past and it shows up perfect, good for getting rid of dead bugs etc..

Cut it off with a razorblade.

It wont come off with a razor blade...its hard to explain what its like. Is just like what happens to your windows/windscreen after it rains. But I have got that all the time...the windscreen isnt to bad because they would have kept that clean.

I will see if I can find some Autoglym in NZ...cheers.

Try brake cleaner

I got some really nasty sticky stuff off of my DeLorean that way...

White Vinegar and a little water, use kitchen towel to wipe it on/off with

TBH mate, it was a trick my old mum used on the house windows! We lived in London so you can imagine how crappy the windows got, works a treat to get the grime off, you might want to use somthing like the Blue Autoglym (as Jezza suggests) to finish them off and get rid of any streaks. Best of all it wont harm any paint or rubber.
