Nice! Tongue

And you don't get in trouble with the cops because of loss of oil? Dumb question
I mean: in my neighbourhood it is quite common when the police comes and check what you're doing. Wink

Banpei,

You live in amsterdam in a place with workshops so cops are very panicky about tinkering on the streets. When we were busy with preparing Lennerts car for painting we even heard there is a 400 euro fine if they catch you.

I'm pretty sure though that where doc lives they're much less stressful with it unless if you make a mess of things.

Also I think Doc didn't loose the oil on the street in front of his house but just had to little in the gearbox to begin with.

Indeed... And a lot of people just work on their cars in my neighbourhood just along the road so indeed they are a bit more strict about it...

Not losing oil? Uhmmm....

Not much and certainly nothing the cops would loose their temper about... Wink

Clean & paint to avoid rust. My AE86 rear ones still worked when I replaced them - but were badly rusted.

well, the gearbox is leaking, the diff is dripping, i dropped a full can of oil etc.
So yeah, there is some oil on the parkinglot Blush Smile Big Grin

But the Opel Astra wich is standing next to my Corolla often (that's why it rusts so hard it think) is leaking way more then what i spilled last weekend Big Grin

And about cops, the only cops i ever saw in my little town came from Tilburg and were 'operating' a speedo cam Wink

well, the gearbox is replaced, so it's back on the road again.
The 3.9 ratio is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long, but i'll fix that later.

In the mean time i found something on ebay i couldn't resist:
