Doing a 7AGE build, gasket question
Hello guys!
I found a nice 7AFE and started collecting parts, but now I'm stuck with head gasket. Since I bought hi-comp pistons from late 4AGE, I would need a 1mm+ metal head gasket. I have read in several places that I need metal gasket for 4AGE, but I cannot find the part number . Toyota dealership doesn't have a clue (which was to be expected, but I tried anyway). Does anyone have the part number, or will I have to go with some aftermarket solution? EDIT: It seems that 4AFE gasket has the right thickness - 1.4mm. I will have to find out if original toyota part is multi layer metal or.. |

7AFE is 0.6mm, I'm using it as a cheap alternative of the TRD metal headgaskets. Although the cooling holes are a bit different on the 7AFE gasket, but nothing dramatical
