Engine wont rev. Fuel pump?
Understood.
Today i checked what I can find from the boot, and it was only "fuel level meter". I expected to find a fuel pump, but there were no hoses at all, just some wires. about 10 to 15cm closer to the front of the car is the pump mount... what you have there is the float. As EFI became more used, the combining of the float and pum p became the standard. In our OLDE cars... there are two assemblies that drop into the fuel tank.
That is why I DIDN'T say access the assembly from in the trunk(boot)... You MUST drop the fuel tank to get to the pump assembly. Dan - You can |  .... OR you can ask for help!!!OST Porting service - http://hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19991 |

I thought in was accessible from underneath the rear seats, or is that applying only for hatchbacks?

I dont remember it being accesible from the inside in any ae86.. some people cut a bit out of the floor to gain access.

Ah right. That's what the thing in my shed is.
