Fuel pump
I want to replace my old fuel pump. I’ll keep engine as it is, so there’s no need for big upgrades.
Q: Any suggestions for fuel pump replacement? Q: Is there any other type I can use? Thx. Fun is not the straight line! |

3SG(T)E, 7MGTE pumps are bolt-on.
You can use also external pumps from K-Jethronics Mercedes, Audi etc. |

jep, doesnt have to be an iternal one at all.. considering you are in croatia, it might be alot easier fot you to get a german pump. Mine i think is from a golf or some other VW. works fine, it just starts to bog if the tank gets too empty.

Fuel pump
When you tune your car Alimonos you should go for a CelicaSupra fuel pump (tell me when you want it and i ll try to find one) and a new fuel pressure regulator (again let me know).

Fuel pump
RX7 FC fuel pumps are pretty much a direct replacement as well.. The only thing you need to swap over from the old pump is the fuel strainer (filter), and take off some stuff where the pump attaches to the fuel pipe.

Fuel pump
The only valid reasons to replace a fuelpump are:
1. The old one is broken..(duh) 2. Fuel capacity not enough..mostly a problem that turbo cars develop. There is no point in installing fancy fuelpumps if there is no need for extra capacity..you will just be pumping fuel around pointlessly. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
